We at A & D Bookstore are extremely pleased with the increased sales and clientele that AOP's products have brought to our business. We began carrying AOP's products in 2002, and we have watched our sales steadily increase ever since. We are a religious and educational supply store, so having homeschoolers shopping with us has boosted sales in everything from Bibles to classroom decorations, chalkboards, and much more.

Many dealers assume that homeschooling is a seasonal thing, but we have found that is not true at all. We have first-time homeschoolers beginning all through the year. State exams are causing many people to begin homeschooling. The pressure to pass these exams becomes too much for many students, and that pressure also affects the parents, causing them to seek other alternatives.

LIFEPACs from Alpha Omega Publications are our top homeschool seller because everything parents need to begin a homeschool is in one box. The teacher's guide gives parents advice and suggestions on how to manage their homeschool. A grade book also is included in the teacher's guide, along with extra tests in case the student is struggling. This is by far the simplest and easiest way to begin homeschooling.

Seasoned homeschoolers may begin ordering and purchasing their products for the next year during income tax return time. Others start planning and purchasing during the spring and early summer, mainly because they already know that when school starts, stock runs out quickly, and most homeschoolers want to begin the same day their local public schools start. Our first year, we only carried one set of each grade, but we have learned that to best serve our customers, we keep at least two to three sets of third grade through tenth grade, and one set of the other grades.
